On Thursday, Prep’s president, Fr. Ken Boller, S.J., announced the appointment of Ms. Virginia A. Piccolo, CPA, RMA to lead the school’s finance office starting in 2019.

With an extensive background in public accounting, Ms. Piccolo has served as a partner in the firm WithumSmith+Brown, PC for the last ten years. She will begin her service at Saint Peter’s Prep on February 1, and succeed Mr. John V. Caulfield,  ’71, P’00,’03 as Vice President for Finance upon his retirement on March 1.

“I am grateful to the search committee chaired by trustee, Mr. Brian Archer, ’86 and including Mr. George Gurdak, ’70, P’03 and Mr.  Jeffrey Kellner, ’85, P’13,’15,’19, for guiding us to a successful replacement for Jack,” Fr. Boller said.

“Ms. Piccolo inherits a well-managed finance office which has placed Prep on sound financial footing after over a decade of capital improvements,” he continued. “Jack Caulfield has done an outstanding job at the helm of the Prep’s finances for these last seven years. We owe him an enormous debt of gratitude as we wish him great happiness in a well-deserved retirement.”
