Join Prep Vox, along with the Concert Band and Jazz Band, for the annual Christmas concert this Sunday, December 9! The festivities begin at 2 p.m. in O’Keefe Commons.

It will be the culmination of a busy season for Prep’s student musicians, as the performing arts department has been very active throughout the fall!

On November 29, Mr. Caslowitz and Ms. Fencik held an induction ceremony for Chapter #2689 of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. These Juniors and Seniors have become new members of this honor society that focused on Service, Character, Musicianship, and Academic Achievement.

Vox has performed at a number of notable events in recent weeks. Prep’s vocal ensemble recently traveled to Penn State University for the annual Men of Song Festival, where they were part of the grand opening on the new Recital Hall at PSU. Next, they took part in the annual “Sounds of the Season” recording for News 12 New Jersey – to be shown the weekend prior to Christmas, as well as Christmas Eve and Christmas Day – and performed at the Bayonne Interfaith Clergy Association Thanksgiving Prayer Service. Finally, this week, Vox headed to the Bronx, where they spread some Christmas cheer to the retired Jesuits of Murray-Weigel Hall at Fordham University.
