Following is an update on Week 2 of the Great Ignatian Challenge, from Mr. Dougherty:

Dear Prep Community,

After a difficult week for Prep, I’m happy to share some good news with you: the weekly results for our Great Ignatian Challenge food drive!

This week, Prep students, staff, and families donated 4,210 pounds of food to benefit our community partners — 1,117 of which was entirely on-campus donations! I want to extend special thanks to Matthew Forget, Nicolas Galup, and Tyler Najara, ’19, who spent several days helping us organize and tally those donations.

Our overall total now is 7,476.35 pounds, which means we are officially more than halfway to our 12,000 pound goal! We’ll run another “Challenge Day” for on-campus donations this coming Wednesday, November 7, and as always you can donate online at our YouGiveGoods page. Thank you for your generosity so far!

We hope you all have a safe and happy weekend. As always, please reach out to us (even when school isn’t in session) if you need anything. The Great Ignatian Challenge reminds us that the heart of Prep is our community. Let’s lean on one another as we move forward.

Peace,

The Office of Campus Ministry
